Abie Sidell (he/him) is a Queens, New York based filmmaker. With his company Radical Rhinoceros Pictures, Abie has directed music videos; branded content for clients like Marvel and Facebook; educational films for the New York State Department of Education, Columbia University, and in Ghana and Ethiopia; and original films. Abie’s been making movies since he was 8 years old and directed Indiana Jones and the Missing Sock. Abie still believes in magic, and movies are the proof. He'd call it all powerful, but he never did find that sock.

Abie premiered his latest movie, CRAM, at the Austin Film Festival in October 2021, where it won the Audience Award for Best Dark Matters Feature. CRAM is out now on-demand & is free to watch on Tubi!

Most recently, Abie co-wrote May Day: Part 1, an epic original musical about the climate crisis and luxury cruise ships with composer Daniel Rudin as a co-recipient of the Signature Theatre/Yale Composer Partnership. He is currently writing his next movie, a tragic rom-com about a woman who loses her married lover to a horrific hot dog accident and winds up falling for the representative of the fast food hot dog company that killed him.
